                     POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

TITLE:           POOL TIMING SYSTEMS OPERATOR

                     2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

                     GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP CAMPUS

Deadline:      This position will be filled in no less than ten (10) days after the date of this posting.

 

Requirements:
  1. A valid Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate.
  2. A valid AED/CPR certificate.
  3. Knowledge of operating a Daktronics Timing System.
  4. Knowledge of NJSIAA Swimming rules.
  5. Successfully undergo a criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or  legal resident alien status.
  6. Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.
  7. Meets NJ residency requirements or willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment.
  8. Must follow the guidelines of the Camden County Technical Schools’ Nepotism Policy, File Code: 0142.1.

This is a part-time position, No benefits
 

 

 

Interviews are at the discretion of the superintendent and/or designee and based on qualifications for the position.

POSITION GOAL:             To operate a Daktronics Timing System during swim meets and keep proper score and times

                                      throughout the swim meet.

 

REPORTS TO:                  Director of Athletics and Student Activities

 

PERFORMANCE

RESPONSIBILITIES:         

 

    1.  The timing system operator will be available for swim meets throughout the season.

 

  1. The timing system operator will maintain score and time and be able to provide all information regarding score and time to officials and coaches throughout the swim meet.
  1. In an emergency, the Timing Systems Operator will be able to act as lifeguard.
